Grant to St. Anthony High School Concurrent Enrollment Program

A special thank you to the Catholic Community Foundation for funding much needed technology for the St. Anthony High School Concurrent Enrollment Program! This dual-enrollment program is led by Mr. James Schultz, our Director of Mission and Catholic Identity, in partnership with
Cardinal Stritch University. The CEP Program is in direct alignment with St. Anthony’s mission to prepare students for post-secondary education. The CEP allows students to simultaneously earn high school and collegiate credits through rigorous college courses taught on campus by SAHS staff.

Presently, SAHS offers 3 CEP courses: two in the Theology department (Franciscan Tradition and Philosophy for Theology) and one in the History department (Youth and Rebellion). Thanks to Ms. Claire Reszl, Mr. James Schultz and Mr. Kurt Keidl, OFS for obtaining their master’s degrees and
teaching these courses. Any junior or senior can enroll in the class, and those who choose who take the class for collegiate credit can do so by paying $399 to Cardinal Stritch University. If a tuition- paying student procures a C or better, they receive 3 credits of college-level classwork from Cardinal
Stritch University, which are guaranteed to transfer to any 4 year university, and may transfer to a two year institution.

The St. Anthony High School Concurrent Enrollment Program is just one example of how St. Anthony School prepares students for post-secondary education. Contact us at 414-384-6612 to learn about how YOU can support programs like the CEP.

Sponsorship Opportunities for the St. Anthony Concurrent Enrollment Program

  • Many students are unable to afford the $399 course fee (3 credits). Sponsor a scholar to get a head start on her/his college education.
  • St. Anthony High School is still in need of 30 Chromebooks and 1 Chromebook charging cart. Ensure scholars are able to take full advantage of classroom technology by helping us purchase designated devices for this program.
  • Every dollar helps!
