About St. Anthony School

Welcome to the St. Anthony School website.  I invite you to take a few minutes to learn about St. Anthony School, a most unique learning environment.  I also invite you to return often and see how dynamic a school we are in the city of Milwaukee.

We are unique in that we are a parish school in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee serving over 2,000 students, ages two through high school.  We are unique because we are a parish school spread across five campuses.  We are unique because we serve our students in an early childhood education center, an elementary school, a middle school and our own high school.

Our mission is rather straight forward, we are a Catholic School, we are an urban school and our education is to prepare students, if they wish, to pursue post-secondary education.  We do this upon our two foundation pillars: FAITH FORMATION and EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE.  Everything we do at St. Anthony School is done with these two pillars in mind.

At present, the vast majority of our students are Hispanic.  This gives us another unique role especially as a Catholic School.  Through our student body we are educating the fastest growing segment of the future workforce in the United States.  We are also educating in a religious environment the fastest growing segment of the Catholic Church in the United States.

It has been noted that a community that is founded on a strong faith foundation with a strong education system will inevitably be a strong community in which to raise children, provide a safe and caring place, provide art and culture amenities and most important provide living wages to support families.  We are so blessed at St. Anthony School that our pillars are FAITH FORMATION and EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE.  Our goal is to infuse in our graduates these four personal core values:

  • A person of faith grounded in the beliefs and traditions of the Catholic Church;
  • An effective communicator able to articulate thoughts and ideas to a wide and diverse community;
  • A responsible member of the community engaging the world by making a positive contribution to society;
  • A life-long learner who understands that learning is not a method but an approach to living.

Welcome and learn more about this wonderful place, St. Anthony School.
