My name is Lázaro Edwards, and I am delighted to introduce myself as the principal of St. Anthony Middle School. I am highly motivated and enthused to lead this accredited institution.
For the past three years, I have served as St. Anthony High School’s assistant principal, experiencing the great potential that our students, staff, and community hold. With over 15 years of experience in education on the south side of Milwaukee, I understand the struggles, adversity, and challenges that our students experience. I genuinely believe that the middle school years are critical in the development of our students, and I commit to working tirelessly to prepare all of our students for high school and beyond.
My guiding principle is always to do what is best for students: great schools result from high expectations and collective efficacy. I look forward to collaborating with our staff, students, parents, and stakeholders to realize our school's mission.
We do it for the name on our shirt. St. Anthony, pray for us!
