Theme: Spring
St. Anthony preschool students will learn that spring is a special time of year when the snow starts to melt, and the weather starts to get warmer. The trees start to grow new leaves and buds, and flowers start to bloom! During spring, we can start to play outside more often, wear lighter clothes, and enjoy activities like playing in the park.
Story Time at Mitchell Street Public Library
The Butterfly Classroom will walk to the Mitchell Street Public Library for Story Time!
Crazy Socks Day
Wear a pair of silly socks! Wear mismatched socks, two pairs of socks, or whatever funny socks you have. We will read Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss.
Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss
We will make some special favorite foods from Dr. Seuss's stories. Children can wear red and white (jeans are allowed).
Cat in the Hat Day
Wear a hat today because it’s “The Kid In The Hat” Day at St. Anthony Preschool! The teachers will read their favorite Dr. Seuss stories to the children.
SHARP Literacy Lesson (K3)
Learners discover physical science concepts through play, art, music, movement, reading aloud, and social-emotional learning activities. Students become curious by experimenting with items that sink or float, coloring a rainbow, dancing and singing about gravity, or listening to a story about force and motion. They grasp ideas about the fascinating world around them.
Theme: Love & Friendship
Preschool provides opportunities for children to interact and play with their peers, helping them build and strengthen their friendships. We encourage children to be kind and supportive of one another and to celebrate each other's differences and unique qualities.
Theme Week: Dental
Good dental hygiene is crucial for children's overall health and well-being. It helps prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health problems. This week, we will focus on educating and encouraging children to develop healthy dental habits from an early age.
